The UAW Monitor’s Reports
Pursuant to the Consent Decree, the UAW Monitor will file a written report with the District Court concerning the Monitor’s work at least every six months. These written reports will be posted on this page after they are filed. As detailed below, the Monitor also prepared a formal report summarizing the Referendum process.
Monitor’s Tenth Status Report
The Monitor’s Tenth Status Report was filed with the Court on July 12, 2024. The Tenth Status Report summarizes the Monitor’s activities to assist the UAW in improving its compliance regime at approximately the halfway point of the Monitor’s six-year term. It also includes a brief update about the Monitor’s election-related activities.
Monitor’s Ninth Status Report
The Monitor’s Ninth Status Report was filed with the Court on June 10, 2024. The Ninth Status Report summarizes the first three years of the Monitor’s investigative work, including the UAW’s level of cooperation with the Monitor with respect to that work.
Monitor’s Eighth Status Report
The Monitor’s Eighth Status Report was filed with the Court on December 8, 2023. The Eighth Status Report provides a comprehensive overview of the Monitor’s work to oversee and administer the 2022 UAW International Officer Election and the 2023 UAW International Officer Run-Off Election.
Monitor’s Supplement to Seventh Status Report
The Monitor's Supplement to Seventh Status Report was filed with the Court on July 25, 2023. The Supplement to Seventh Status Report addresses the Court's June 22, 2023 Order requesting specific information regarding protests of the 2022 UAW International Officer Election and 2023 UAW International Officer Run-Off Election.

Monitor’s Seventh Status Report
The Monitor’s Seventh Status Report was filed with the Court on June 16, 2023. The Seventh Status Report certifies the results of the 2022 UAW International Officer Election and 2023 UAW International Officer Run-Off Election.
Monitor’s Sixth Status Report
The Monitor’s Sixth Status Report was filed with the Court on March 25, 2023, and on May 2, 2023, the Monitor filed an Addendum to the Sixth Status Report. The Sixth Status Report provides the unofficial results of the race for International President in the 2023 UAW International Officer Run-Off Election.

Monitor’s Fifth Status Report
The Monitor’s Fifth Status Report was filed with the Court on March 17, 2023. The Fifth Status Report provides the unofficial results of the races for International Vice President and Region 9 Director in the 2023 UAW International Officer Run-Off Election.
Monitor’s Fourth Status Report
The Monitor’s Fourth Status Report was filed with the Court on December 5, 2022. The Fourth Status Report provides the unofficial results of the UAW’s first direct election of its International Officers.
Monitor’s Third Status Report
The Monitor’s Third Status Report was filed with the Court on July 19, 2022. The Third Status Report focuses on the progress of the Monitor’s investigative and compliance mandates. As to the investigations mandate, the Third Status Report discusses the Monitor’s open and ongoing investigations, as well as disciplinary charges brought and settled by the Monitor. As to the compliance mandate, the Third Status Report highlights where the UAW has made progress in implementing the Monitor’s recommendations from the Initial Status Report, and notes priority areas for further improvements to the UAW’s compliance culture. The Third Status Report also discusses the Union’s level of cooperation with the Monitor.
Monitor’s Second Status Report - Election Rules
The Monitor’s Second Status Report was filed with the Court on May 11, 2022. The Second Status Report discusses the development of the Official Rules for the 2022 International Officer Election of the UAW, highlights the key features of the Rules, and discusses expected upcoming activities moving toward the Union’s first direct election of International Officers.
Referendum Report
On January 7, 2022, the Monitor transmitted its “Referendum Report” to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards (“OLMS”). The Referendum Report summarizes the steps taken by the Monitor to oversee the vote of the UAW membership on the method for electing the International Executive Board (“IEB”) of the UAW. On January 19, 2022, OLMS endorsed the Monitor’s Referendum Report. On January 31, 2022, the Court granted the Monitor’s Unopposed Motion for Approval of Referendum Results.
Monitor’s Initial Status Report
The Monitor’s Initial Status Report was filed with the Court on November 11, 2021. The Initial Status Report describes the Monitor’s activities during the first six months of the monitorship.
